While a patient, nurturing attitude can provide the foundation for a career in child care, current administrators, supervisors and child care teachers who want to take their career to the next level will need to build a stronger knowledge base for the business side of the job.
Comprised of six courses (18 credits), Moraine Park’s Child Care Administrative Credential Certificate addresses the many responsibilities business program administrators and directors in early childhood settings must manage, including staffing, budget development, facilities management, assessment of community needs and performance standards.
Upon completion of the program, students may apply to the Registry for the Wisconsin Professional Credential for
Child Care Administrators. Scholarships may be available through the Wisconsin Early Childhood Association.
